The design of the 2012 edition of the Hala Layali Febrayer festival, a major music and poetry festival in Kuwait broadcasted live on Kuwait TV, was a combination of the oriental culture graphic patterns with the minimalism of triangular shapes applied to the different elements of the set. LED panels and cutting edge lighting equipment were suspended over the stage in staggered rows, creating a structure of full and empty triangular shapes. The multi platform stage allowed the artists to position themselves at different levels. The stage was filled by a network of LED flex strips and was equipped with media tubes reflecting the triangular shapes on the ceiling. The show was finally canceled due to the war in Syria.
